Zinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. The majority of zinc-finger proteins contain a Krüppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which is thought to interact with KAP1, thereby recruiting histone modifying proteins. As a member of the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF25 (Zinc finger protein 25), also known as Zinc finger protein KOX19, is a 456 amino acid nuclear protein that contains one KRAB domain and twelve C2H2-type zinc fingers. The gene encoding ZNF25 maps to a region of human chromosome 10 that has been a loci of interest for multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A and 2B. There are two isoforms of ZNF25 that are produced as a result of alternative splicing events. Product :

Blocking peptides are peptides that bind specifically to the target antibody and block antibody binding. These peptide usually contains the epitope recognized by the antibody. Antibodies bound to the blocking peptide no longer bind to the epitope on the target protein. This mechanism is useful when non-specific binding is an issue, for example, in Western blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
